Terms & Conditions

A little clarity before your next drive. Please read this information alongside the quote and agreement for your booking.

Your booking with Enjoyride

Sending an enquiry does not reserve a vehicle or create a confirmed booking. We will check availability, explain the proposed arrangement and provide the price and applicable conditions before you commit. Your booking confirmation and agreement identify the contracting provider, vehicle, dates, payment schedule and any service-specific requirements.

This page is general booking information. It does not replace a signed vehicle agreement, change an existing booking or remove any statutory consumer rights. Any agreed special arrangements should be recorded in writing.

Drivers and eligibility

For self-drive bookings, every driver must be approved before driving. We will explain the licence, identity, address and insurance checks required for your chosen vehicle. Requirements can differ between vehicles and insurers. Please tell us about any relevant changes before collection. Do not give the vehicle to an unapproved driver.

Prices, payments and security

Your quote will set out the total payable, any applicable taxes, agreed mileage, delivery or collection costs, and the payment timetable. The agreement will explain any deposit or card authorisation, what it secures, and how and when it is released. A security deposit is separate from an insurance excess. Please read both amounts before accepting.

Additional charges must have a clear basis in your agreement. Where a deduction is proposed, we will explain the reason and supporting evidence. Please contact us promptly if you disagree with a charge.

Insurance and responsibility

Insurance arrangements must be confirmed for the specific booking before the vehicle is released. Check who arranges the cover, which drivers and uses are permitted, the excess, and any exclusions. Do not assume that personal insurance, a card benefit or a booking on another platform covers a direct hire. Your agreement and applicable policy set out responsibility if something goes wrong.

Looking after the vehicle

Use the vehicle lawfully and with reasonable care. Keep keys secure, use the correct fuel and follow any operating instructions supplied. Tell us promptly about a warning light, fault, breakdown or damage and stop driving when it is unsafe to continue. Do not arrange repairs or modifications without agreement, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.

Track use, racing, towing, sub-hire, production use and travel outside the agreed territory require specific approval where available. Tell us about pets, filming or any other special plans before booking so we can confirm what is suitable.

Collection, mileage and return

We will agree the handover location and time with you. The condition record should capture existing damage, mileage, fuel or charge level and supplied accessories. Please raise discrepancies promptly and retain the handover record.

Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place with its keys and accessories. Mileage allowances, excess mileage rates and any fuel or charging requirements will be stated in your agreement. Fair wear and tear is considered when assessing condition. Contact us before the agreed return time if you need an extension; it is only confirmed once we agree it in writing.

Accidents, damage and roadside help

Put safety first and contact emergency services when needed. Follow legal reporting duties, exchange relevant details and take photographs where safe. Notify Enjoyride and the relevant insurer or assistance provider promptly using the details supplied with your booking. Responsibility and any charges will be assessed under the agreement and applicable cover, using the available evidence.

Road charges and tickets

Check parking, tolls, congestion and clean-air charges for your journey. Your agreement explains responsibility for charges and penalties arising during your use and any administration fee. Where the law permits, the appropriate driver or hirer details may be supplied to the issuing authority. Signing a hire agreement does not itself transfer a statutory liability where the law does not allow it.

Changes and cancellations

Please contact us as soon as your plans change. Availability, price changes and cancellation conditions will be explained before your booking is confirmed. Any cancellation charge must comply with applicable consumer law. If we cannot provide an agreed service, we will discuss the available options, including any refund you are entitled to. We will not substitute a materially different arrangement without your agreement.

Production and concierge services

Production bookings have their own agreed timings, itinerary and service requirements. Please tell us about waiting time, access restrictions and filming plans when enquiring.

Accommodation, restaurant bookings and other concierge arrangements may be provided by partners. We will explain who supplies the service, who takes payment and which cancellation terms apply before you agree. Partner availability is confirmed individually.

Bookings through Turo

If you book through Turo, the platform booking and its applicable terms govern that reservation. This website does not amend a Turo booking or its protection arrangements. Use the appropriate booking channel for changes.

Your information and your rights

See our Privacy page for how enquiry and booking information is handled. Nothing on this page excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory rights.
